Originally designated with a period of performance from July 2020 to August 2022, DigiCon received an additional bridge contract to continue our support of the FCC’s HQ facility through the end of June, 2023. Mr. Joseph Aleba, a member of our SANDBAR Foreign Military Sales Support Project Team, was recently presented with the DigiCon CEO Award for Staff Excellence. Mr. Aleba has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and has set an excellent example for the more junior members of the FMS project team. His experience deploying technology solutions at customer sites around the world has enabled the team to quickly identify risks and develop solutions to help keep the project on track. His exemplary technical skills allow him to work through problems with all of the project stakeholders: our Prime, GovCIO; the Army National Guard; the Army Program Executive Office (PEO); and the host country end-users.
During the past year on the FMS project, Mr. Aleba has led efforts to create a Montenegrin Tiger Team responsible for the installation of new network equipment throughout the Montenegrin Armed Forces Headquarters and remote locations. He has led efforts to organize a Training/Familiarization effort for Montenegrin Armed Forces Personnel, EUComm, U.S. Embassy ODC and Maine National Guard Personnel. When faced with a budget shortfall on the Lithuania project, he recommended a reduction in equipment which led to a change in the TDL and type of servers to be purchased for the Lithuanian NCSC. In addition, he has worked tirelessly to complete equipment pre-configuration documentation, which became a model for other teams.
Finally, Mr. Aleba has demonstrated a selfless attitude regarding his work and the role he plays on the team. He recently received an exceptional performance review, but declined a salary increase so that those funds could be used to provide for salary increases for his teammates. This is a true example of a great employee and partner with his team, and demonstrates the exceptional drive DigiCon recognizes with our CEO Award for Staff Excellence.

These are global web-based applications in support of the NCIS IT Solutions dynamic with over 300 customers. She is there to assist and troubleshoot customer’s email, network, and account issues. In addition, our team has undergone many personnel and systems changes over the past few months making it difficult to feel like a “team”. LaToya has been vital in ensuring that the team has a good understanding of what the new software entails, for instance the new software provided to better help the Helpdesk agent assist in the management of customers account issues called Management Analyst Administrative Audit, and Cisco Finesse phone service, allows from our staff to better support the customer. She maintains and updates our OneNote tool which is used to provide support information with step-by-step details on how the programs and information flows.

November, 2022 - Monthly News Recap
Digital Consultants is happy to announce the introduction of our new monthly news updates! These will be posted to our website newsreel alongside our usual contract award updates, and will recap some of the major developments that occurred over the course of the previous month. For our first monthly update, we take a look at DigiCon news for November, 2022:
DigiCon employees have been hard at work throughout the past month providing our customers with industry-leading support and expertise. Recently, two of our employees have demonstrated exceptional initiative in contributing to DigiCon and our clients, and have been presented with our CEO Award for Staff Excellence:
Latoya Holmes – NCIS ITSC Service Desk
Latoya Holmes has been absolutely critical to the NCIS ITSC Service Desk team over the last few months as she has helped the team manage recent staff turnover. The entire Service Desk T2 team turned over within the previous two month period. As a result of the promotion of two of the T1 techs, a gap was created in T1 coverage. In this same period of time, the Service Desk had two T1 techs take time off to do their National/Air Guard annual training creating an even bigger T1 coverage gap.
Ms. Holmes was able to train the two newly trained T1’s that were onboarded and covered the workload of the entire T1 team while doing so. While she did have some assistance from the T2 techs, she still entered more than double the normal number of tickets each week. She maintained this level of performance over four weeks until our reservists returned from training. Ms. Holmes managed to resolve the majority of the tickets she entered, which is a phenomenal achievement.
Ms. Holmes’ supervisor, Matthew Brown, NCIS ITSC Service Desk Lead, stated: “I see great things for her moving forward as she is already assertively requesting the T2 techs include her in projects and troubleshooting assignments they work. This can-do attitude will continue to serve her as she continues to grow and move forward in her IT career.”
Troy Lee – PFPA LMR
Mr. Troy Lee over the past year has become the cornerstone of Land Mobile Radio Asset Management for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). Troy has pride for his area of expertise, ensuring that the customer knows they can count on him to help them through their asset management problems. He holds the standards of the asset management program to the highest level resulting in the first ever 100% accountability for government property in the agency. During his employment PFPA Land Mobile Radio program has had zero lost assets; this is a major accomplishment for the program and the agency. Troy ensures that each customer is taken care of in a way that fits their mission, ensuring he tailors his approach to the individual department needs. Troy is customer and mission focused at all times, he has demonstrated a willingness to help in all areas of the program. This year he has accomplished lifecycle equipment replacements for all personnel from Chief to Sergeant, 125 issues and 125 turn ins across 3 locations and many different schedules all while maintaining 100% accountability.
Always the team player, Mr. Lee’s willing to help wherever needed. During the PFPA push to deploy BeOn radios, Troy volunteered to assist with radio firmware updates to cut the time needed for deployment down to an acceptable level. Without his help on that mission, the team would not have met their timeline. Mr. Lee embodies Digital Consultants’ values of integrity, value, and innovation and his work reflects greatly on himself and his company.
